Rear brake bias valve
On a Indy is the inertia brake bias valve that is fitted to the Sierra (the round type thats sits a bit uphill) needed? I have 9 inch rear drums
fitted. Opinions based on SVA issues would be helpful.
Cheers.
Steve.

I don't think you will need it. I only needed one on my disc braked Indy after I fitted racing pads on the rear.
Snoopy will probably confirm this, But I passed SVA without one.

You shouldn't need a valve at all.
But if you do need a valve the 'G-valve' off the Sierra is totally unsuitable for a Seven.
Do a search - you'll find plenty of advice.

Agree re G valve --- but you want to be 100% sure for SVA you can use one of the valves off a Mondeo master cylinder --- really simple to fit but be
aware they have different threads on inlet and outlet.

I used a fiat bias/type part,i didnt need it in the end and had the valve set fully open to achieve enough rear brake with a disc set up.
Plenty of indy's have gone through SVA without the adjuster.
