Another chassis is born!!

After about 15 hours work my Locost is begining to look like a car

You may notice a few differences from the book, predominately the 22mm steal. In order to gain additional rigidity a number of braces are to be added, most the same as the Ozzy mods plus a few others.

Here's the proud man himself! (Changed due to him being tougher than me (although shorter ) And again because he is picky!)
I'll post a pic of these 'additional braces' shortly once I've finished making them as my bros too lazy to draw them!

As the chassis is still in the early stages and subject to a few design changes, what are the thoughts on creating the battery area at the end of the passenger foot well? panelled in of course.

This would lower the considerable weight of a heavy component below the axle line at no cost to passenger comfort (unless they have freekishly long legs).
