Nubbins at la-lc, lb-lc

Has anyone made a mod to the front of the chassis to prevent the joint between the l's and the j's from protruding through the skin? I think that I recall someone proposing a front suspension bay in which the j's ended at the infamous fu's and the top tubes from there forward were parallel to the centre-line, but couldn't find it in the archives.

Regards,
Fussy Pete

Formula 27?

Isn't that how they do it? You could make the section up then cut the pointy bits off and weld a flat strip round the gap you've just made.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
