Welcome to the Forum Phil! You will find a wealth of information on Locostbuilders, and a warm and helpful bunch of people who are incredibly resourceful and accomodating!

As for your specific question - firstly I would suggest you update your profile so people can see where you are. That will help in identifying a likely supplier for your cage.

Is your car built to the original book design? Or the Haynes design? Or something different? Do you have any photos of your new pride and joy?

I would think you will be best to find a supplier who can custom build you a cage to your spec. It makes a difference with the design of the car, your height, your screen option, etc etc. So the chances are, there will not be an off the shelf bolt on...

Good luck in your quest, and congratulations on choosing a bike engine - the thinking man's choice!

Ive bought 3 cages from the company called Caged for my westfield..

£900 including delivery, are you planning to race the car or will you need it to be FIA or MSA Approved?

roll cage

Hi Phyl
welcome to locost
As Twybrow said here there is a wealth of knowledge, and a lot of friendly
people willing to help.
We were lucky with ours on ebay £250 , had to make up some plates
and get it all welded in.
Mk sports cars sell them & fit them
speak to Danny

They may fit your car or adapted.
Good luck

I dont know what skills you have but i am intending to make my own cage. A can borrow a friends tube bender, will buy the tube and learn to weld.

It wont cost any more to build it to MSA specs, and if you do its a good selling point and good peace of mind.

I measured my car up, knocked up some rough drawings and had the tube bent.

Then just welded, should be around £125 in CDS tube + 15 a bend.
