Vauxhall have recently put their approval on bronze welding for accident repairs. The reels of wire are £70 for 15kg, and you need to use pure argon
as the shield, oh yes and a mig welder!
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

Mmmmmmmmm ... I'd be interested in how this works? How is the repair metal "fluxed" or cleaned?
I've seen autofluxers but these are reliant on the flux being introduced into the acetylene stream. Argon alone will not clean the parent
metals?
Got any more details?

We haven't used it yet, I suspect the wire is flux cored, hence the price. I will try to get a data sheet from our supplier, I will post it when
I get it.
