It's no wonder looking at the brainless effort that they fair so badly in crashes...

give you a clue, it has the engine joined to the gearbox by a big chain but it's not a BEC
I knew two people who owned them and all they're cars did was sit in garages waiting on parts.
An AC ME3000? that had a bad rep not sure about the chain drive bit though.
