Today I made part of the rear subframe and fitted the front wishbone rod end adjusters.
The subframe is not completed yet and is only tacked. The manifold is only on loose too. You can also see the reverse starter motor hanging and the
chain diff. Neither are fixed and the sprocket needs to be changed.
Some names I came up with: The Quark, Isotope, Dark Matter. I can't seem to think of anything remotely similar to ATOM and still making it sound
cool !!

looking good.
Names:
MOTA (atom backwards)
or R1 Mota etc
Reactor (as in nuclear) R1ACTOR
I'll have a think.
Where did you get those rod end adjusters from?
Looking good. When are you hoping for completion?
As for names, have a look at this page/site for some "proper"
physics names.
Lepton and muon aren't bad ones. The experimental physics bit has some weird names in it too!
Gotta be "Tachyon"
The word tachyon derives from the Greek (tachus), meaning "speedy."

the name ATOM is cool because it is given to a very cool car.
imagine how uncool it would be in a Kia or a Daewoo...
"isotope" is kinda querky for a car
what about Zenith? i kinda like that name. although a bit tacky because of its meaning and stuff.. but sounds cool

You could call it a phastasfeck
or "atomic bomb" yeah!
Mimic?
damn I wish i had the nouse to just start something from scratch. Maybe next time i'll learn to weld and have a go
Martin
How about calling it the "Neutrino", I believe it's one of the lightest & fastest particles known IIRC
I thought of Neutrino especially if it is spelt NeutR1no
