do you have any pics as i have a tube bender that does up to 1 1/4 but would take an 1 1/2 die if it is a 180 degree one
Don’t have any pictures of die set yet as there are still being made but I can say now they will be 120 degrees

defo up for one if ytou can sort a pic giving sizes and the bore of the pivot hole
Having real trouble trying to post pictures.
Will be making 3 die out of one blank boring an oversize hole in the centre hence can only be 120* then will make a bush to be wielded in the centre
for the pivot hole. This hole can be what ever size you like.
Hope this makes sense

Is this the same idea?
This will not work on thinner tube.
Its a pipe bender, and the tube wall will collapse and kink.
Also the formers supplied will not be a snug fit around tube.
The difference between pipe & tube is as follows, the notional size on pipe refers to the inside diameter, with tube its the outside diameter.
The tube bender actualy pulls the tube around the former via a guide which prevents it collapsing.
The pie bender deforms the static pipe by pushing the former into the pipe.
I wish I had seen the a forementioned tube bender because although I succeded in making my exhaust from tube on a pipe bender it was a huge amount of
work, I had to machine one of the formers to fit the tube - not easy even though I have access to some basic machines.
The tubes had to be very tightly packed with sand, I finally achieved by blanking the ends, and compressing via a 'piston' & M12
bolt.
Look at Rorty's site for info on pipe & tube - its excellent
