I take it your using 3 point harnesse? Is the tube/threaded bit welded on the other side? If so, should be fine.
Oh, why didn't you just put them in the roll bar?
Looks ok,
Can I also ask the same question as Si why not put the mounts in the Roll Bar?
Genuine Interest and not being funny
i bet the lugs were in place already and the bar just raises the height to the correct... er, height.
Looks fine to me, but you might've guessed im no inspector!
yes the threaded boss 's are welded both sides, and the reason they are there and not in the roll bar is wont go short enough and rise the harness up so it is level with the holes in the seats, thanks for you comments
Per most harness manufacturer's data, the shoulder harness is supposed to be attached slightly below the top of your shoulders. It's hard to
tell from the picture if that is so.
See your mfg's site for info since it's a pretty important thing.
If you were concerned about wether you can mount with the bolts horizontal there is a recent SVA ammendment/clarification which states this is OK.
Do they meet the height rules?
Looks fine to me - I take it you are using 4 point harnesses and the straps will loop over the bar?
AFAIK the straps must pass through the seat holes without putting pressure on the edges of the hole - unless the seat is of suitable construction
(steel frame inc around holes).
What you have done is almost exactly what I have planned.
Just one point to check - make sure the bar they pass over is high enough to pass the SVA restriction.
