How have people done their basic tracking?
Just need to set it up before I get the corner weight and tracking done professionally.
What sort of high street places would be able to do the tracking for me, and what sort of prices do they charge.
Just want it driveable as there is place near Oxford my mate works that will do it for me (and have done other locostbuilders members cars) but the
car is in Luton at the moment so want it nice to drive the 40 miles or so.
Setting up yer Indy at 2:52 am that's hardcore!!
Anyhow, I wrote a wee bit about this a while ago, might be of help

I came accross this the other day, might be of use.

I got mine close enough using just my eyes, and taking it for a short drive, at first it was snaking all over the place, then i adjusted it by eye
until it looked about straight then took it to a garage to get it set, i got it within 2degrees using just my eyes and a short drive up and down the
road, but i think that was more fluke than anything else.
I used one of these.
Description
I attached it to some steel bar which I fastened to one wheel, with a mirror attached to a similar steel bar on the other wheel.
The laser reflects back from the mirror and once the angle you want is set on the gauge you just need to get the laser to point back to itself.
Dead cheap and easy to use.
