The wishbone brackets in the book has an external width of 48mm which would tell me that the internal width would be 42mm as the plate thickness is 3mm.

What length are the sides and is 42mm as an internal size right?

If you are using poly bushes and bigger tubing you may need to alter the size from the book as the bolts are bigger. Best idea is to make them to suit what you are using.

Yes the dimension is 42mm, but the previous thread is correct.
I have bought brackets from doz racing and they are 41mm and I have since seen cad drawings on his site showing 42mm.
You really need to make your mind up now on what bushes you are going to use b4 you go ahead with making the brackets... Cheers
