I am getting back to building my MK Locost and looking at radiators. I bought a Polo one ages ago, and had a look at mounting it, and find that the in
and out pipes basically hit the chassis!
Maybe I have the wrong Polo rad?
Any suggestions as to what might be the best option? Engine is crossflow Ford.

Normal problem, you need to make up/use a pipe with an 90 bend to get over the chassis. A search should provide some photos, other makes have the same
issue.

Just for info the rad I have has a core of 380 X 320. And was listed for a 1 litre 83-90.
Looks too small to me!

Not an MK, but I bought the larger golf rad and raised it up to miss the strikers lower rail.
Details of rad are :
Golf/Vento 1.4.16 91-98
430x320mm
VW334E
VW Ref: 6N0.121.253 A / B

Clio rads have an angled bottom hose connector, they fit well.
This is mine.
