Something that's niggled me for a while is the way the handbrake retainer tubes welded to the chassis direct the cable right into the diff
mounting lug.
I assume this is the case with all the factory fabrications of the Sylva/Raw chassis?
Whilst the diff was off and some other work was going on, I decided to pack the tubes across to reduce the kink this caused and reduce the friction on
the cable. The cable coming from the handbrake had failed previously and this had to be a big contributing factor.

I had to remove the diff lug to gain access with the angry grinder then weld back on.

I was looking at my options for the handbrake today (non-Striker) - it's not looking easy at all.
