Things have been a bit slow recently, waiting for the remaining parts from AGM. But I've managed to fit my old exhaust which has saved a load of
cash getting a new one made. Also got my new prop from Dunning & Fairbank plus sent off the sump for shortening/baffling. Note the cardboard sump
to keep out the dust - perhaps I ought to leave it on. Also rang up a local Ford specialist for a price to do a rebuild on my broken Cosworth engine.
£4-£5k he said!! I know it would be as new but I'll never get that past SWMBO. Ho hum - I think it'll end up on Ebay as spares.

ask on turbosport.co.uk sure you can get the cosworth rebuilt for half that quote
build looks fantastic btw
The engine itself is a Merc M120 from an SL600 (or the original Pagani Zonda). I`ve had to ditch the original ecu`s as they have a nasty habbit of
defaulting to limp home mode if everything isn`t......just so. The engine is now being controlled by MS2 extra supplied by Phil Ringwood, who some of
you may already know. It`s driven using 12 cylinder wasted spark and a 60-2 sensor TDC sensor.
I`ve converted from an auto box to a Ford T5 (which may need to be strengthened) via a new flywheel I machined for the job and Alan from AGM made me a
spacer plate and has machined the bell housing down so that there is a nice fit for the input shaft.
Ive also stripped a replace the original fly by wire throttle bodies for a more traditional set up and have enlarged them both to 80mm which Alan has
welded on to the manifolds for me.
The chassis itself is an AGM uprated 500bhp chassis but has been widened by a further 100mm to allow the engine to be shoe horned in and has the added
benefit of increased rigidity.
I will post lots of pics when the chassis arrives.
