Not stirring up more poo, honest! I think maybe there's been some... er... collateral damage affecting innocent law-abiding folk such as myself, maybe as a result of some recent changes to avatars. Maybe.

Look at poor Domo-kun there... <===

Once he was happy and animated, waving his cute fuzzy arms up and down, but now the poor fellow is frozen stiff as if he's seen a ghost. Funny thing is the version in my photo archive, from where the avatar is sourced, still appears to be OK. I've even tried to change my avatar to something else in the profile, then switch back to Domo, but no dice .

Other funny thing is the avatar version has been stretched to 150 pixels wide, wheras the original in my photo archive is a compact 100 (because I've always been so avatar-size conscious). Perhaps this strange stretching has something to do with the distinct lack of animatedness?

Anyone with animated gif avatars have the same problem?

i got sent a u2u by chris saying that my avater ( butter ) was to big and if i did not change it with in 24hr i would be deleted from the site ? as ive had the same avater for an age ive sent him a u2u back asking to explane may be the site has been changed i dont no yet. i have changed it as dont want to be deleted

It would seem as though the automation has set all at 150, so the smaller ones are enlarged to be 150 .....

I will let ChrisW know ....and see if he can alter the script......and get the .gifs back

Thanks dude, but I think I can do that anyway. There's nothing wrong with the actual pic in my photo archive - it's specifically when you use it as an avatar it gets resized and loses animation. Chris'll fix it!

tbh bob as you avatar has womanly bits in it you'll have to change it in case someone visiting the site gets bought in front an industrial tribunal because of it..
