I won a comp with top gear mag in 94 for one othese test days at silverstone,well worth going as a spectator.
I was lucky enough to get a pit pass through top gear comp and was treated very well by all the top teams,fantasic day and i have some great pics
which i'll bring along to next meet if anyones interested.

Its free to get in but you are limited to a small area of the track to view from.It is the area near the curves complex but no seating .I went last
year and was ok but you cant get very close .
