Elvington sat 26th march

Just noticed that there are loads of places left at trackday at elvington next saturday 26th.

Have just got trailer and was thinking of taking car up for a spin.

Its with javalin trackdays, £95 full day open pit lane.

Anyone else interested.

Paul that includes you, I know its not been long since your last one. But I bet your getting withdrawal symptoms already.

Tony.

I think you could twist my arm tony, weather could be a bit too warm for me though,Ive got use to track days in sub zero temperatures ,might just wait a day or two make sure its not going to rain, with a few 4wd subaru's on track,I don't want to embarassed Lost count how many times I spun last sunday and that was in the dry, could do with a few more of us as well to make the numbers up,CHRIS MASON

Carnut the drag racing sounds interesting, show them all what a small light weight car really can do.

Unfortunatly can not make sunday as will be at harewood taking pics of hillclimb, and monday may be at snetterton to take pics of the new bike sports series in the 750mc.

Hi Paul, agree on weather, long range forcast says cloudy for saturday, but then again it says today is sunny and it raining here.

Will as you say give it another day to see, still not many booked in just looked.

Chris if you read this come on up would be a great place to learn how to drive/spin your car.

Tony.

Did you get any of your spins on camera paul.
Where you just trying too hard or have you worn them tyres out again.

Ok have just booked in for tomorrow.

Weather seams like its going to be ok just a little cloudy.

Is it just going to be me or is anone else going to come.

There are only around 18 cars booking in so far, so plenty of time on track.

Tony.

I'm going to Carls at Wakefield (to mod my uprights) in the morning, and will call in on my way back past (but in the tin-top)

Shall I throw in my helmet?

With pleasure, come on over.

I think there is a couple of quid charge for passengers, not sure exactly how much.

don't worry tony you won't be alone,I will be there ,on my own this time, usual pit crew can't make it,don't think its related to my lack of driving ability,or how many times we spun last week saying that if anyone wants to come down for a ride they are welcome, you pay a about a fiver and then you can blagg as many rides in as many cars as you can Rescued attachment chasing radical.jpg

Its the KTEC radical on that video I did at rockingham,I was behind him for a couple of laps pushing him,in the end he indicated and let me through, would not have got past him though if he did not let me,I think he must have had another 100bhp on me with a 1500cc busa,he was pulling away on the straights, but I would then catch him up on the brakes, and round the corners, great fun

We had a great day, after a damp start, circuit only took about 20minutes to dry,and it kept dry until 15:00hrs,so we did realy well ,only went grass tracking twice, all day,so things are looking up.
nice to see "jacko" up there, although couldn't tempt him into a ride, hopefully he will be at the next one with his own car,we should try to plan one in advance next time so a few more of us can get together, would be a great day out, just looked on javelin site,I think sunday 1st of may would be a good day,for the next one,if anyone's interested.
cheers Paul
