As a Caterham owner, you must now enter some events.
It's the law.

None of that matters.
First practice = set a time.
Second practice - chip a bit off.
Repeats throughout the day.
Go home having had great crack in the paddock, having enjoyed youself and having beaten yourself.
Beating the guys spending fortunes isn't what it's all about.
Do it at least once then take it from there.
After first practice, there will be someone in another class who's close to you time wise.
Go and speak to them, they'll be looking at your time too.
You've just found your target for the day

Feel same as you Dan. Good comments from Zil. we will have to do Barbon first. Important not to go too hard and do a Malcom eh.

I did approaching 4 seasons hill climbing (mainly at Harewood) in my pinto powered indy. really you are only competing with yourself - because all the
cars are different and there is no handicapping system. You are mainly just trying to get a new personal best at every meeting. you not only develop
the car set up but also your driving skills.
It's the best fun you can have in your car - much better than driving on a public road and it will make you a better road driver too.
Try and get on one of the Harewood driving school courses - a great day out and it will give you the confidence to go and compete.
I'd be happy to talk you round the course - in the meantime here is my PB at Harewood

Hi Dan, I was there Saturday (it was a 2 day event). I'm the spanner bloke for a couple of cars, MGB and Rover 200 BRM.
The weather was great all day, shame we didn't come back on Sunday though.
I intend having a go at this maybe next year. Hope I see you there
