Donington show 4/5th Sept.
Thought I'd start the hype this year, less than three weeks away..
..so save up yer brownie points, book it in with her indoors and make sure you've got the day off if you work weekends..
So, who's gonna be there, on which day, when/where we meeting (apart from midday at the bar ) who's camping over and who's going
on track on the sunday.
Donington, you all know where it is, just behind east midlands airport off the M1.
Ned.
beware, I've got yellow skin

I'm going this year, hopefully in the Locost, SVA this Friday (20th) if it passes, I'll take it, if not, I'll try to get it in for
the retest the following week.
As for recognising folks, I didn't recognise anyone there (as I don't know what they look like) but I recognised some cars in the camping
area and parked up near them

Joel Donnington is dead easy to find, just follow the M1 south and turn off for East Midlands airport.
If you think you're on the track and a bloody great 737 tries to land on your head you haven't gone quite far enough!
DEAN....Definately going Saturday!
PS:
The M1 definately goes past Leeds cos I drove through a flood at the back of Cross Green to get onto it last tuesday, should have seen all the flooded
out cars being dragged out of the water
Once I've finished a project why do I start another?

Joel, look for Castle Donington
with just the one 'n' after the 'o'. Off M1 at J24 and follow airport signs.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Pretty sure I'm gonna be there.
Bring lots of money everyone who's still building as apart from Exeter it's your last chance for show bits until next year!
MK stand at 12 is always a good meeting place.
Are we gonna bother with ICE (In Camp Entertainment) this year? I'll bring the deck chairs!
Tip for anyone camping: bring earplugs! That airport stops flying pretty late and worse still starts flying pretty damn early! I can assure you-
awaking to the gentle sound of both a hangover and a Boeing 747 100ft above at 6am is not the most pleasant thing ever!

James

Will definitely be there if the weather's good, probably stay both days and camp with the LB crowd. Very tempted by trackday but I've only
just done one so can't afford it
Matt.

Isnt that the melbourne hairpin and its two straights? I cant make out the track that well at that point apart from the run off at the hair pin.
I was there in 1993 when senna took the lead on the first lap having overtaken 5 cars on lap 1.

I meant below as in to the south of
Just to the right of the little square wood with the spur off the bottom is where the camp was situated last year I think.
I do believe that is the melbourne hairpin.
