Stoneleigh - LCB Area?

Hi All

It's probably been announced somewhere but I didn't find it on the search so apologies in advance.

Is there a specific area that we locost builders are gathering at Stoneleigh? This will be my first year with the 7 so previously only ever walked in from the carpark .

Cheers

Oh, and don't forget to wear your T-shirt

There is a space usually, but to be honest, it's not the most well attended stand.

That sounds harsh on the people that go on it as the cars are usually minters!

But over the years, people end up tagging along with friends they've met and then become welcome guests of the MK, MNR, JPSC stand etc.

It's something that in an ideal world wouldn't happen, as in my experience it's always been a fantastic time meeting up with people on here that you've had so much to do with, or so much help from, especially if that meeting was shared in front of said cars, or with a beer in the hand etc

I'll be wearing my LCB Tshirt if it's washed, just so people can say hello if they wish, but I've been attending for some years now, even though I sold my most recent KC 2 or 3 years ago, and tend to get noticed because my Mug's been photographed on here a few times!

With the exception of the Italian replicas, Caterhams, Ultimas (and possibly a couple of others) nobody realy police's where you park. The area Steve's refering to is usually a "Locost Car Club" area rather than a "locostbuilders.co.uk" area, but it's where a few from here park and the "Locost Club" doesn't seem to, a) mind, b) have any sort of club presance.
Others just park up on any other club area they're in or where friends are.

Or the short answer... THE BAR!

We can arrange an LB area if we want. I even got offered a stand last year. Problem has been in previous years that people weren't prepared to commit. Last thing I'd want is an area that was empty!

Cheers, Chris

I parked in Chris Gibbs locost stand last year and probably will again this year, as said its about being with friends and having a laugh.

Best laugh last year was in the BAR, no doubt about it!

Hope this year is well attended, after all the weather is miles better already!

Steve
