There were so many cops there they took away the barricades we'd put up for him!

See, I said at the time the avatar got put up (by ChrisW) my hair doesn't look like that normally:

Instead, now it looks like I've joined the paras!

Hope you enjoyed the ride Jason! (And the one in Dave's car).

Seeya,
James
(still freezing!)

P.S. Where the hell's Conrod? First time I've known him to miss a brekkie?

newlands october

Thanks for all the advice on offsets etc.

Glad I got that cleared up, I had visions of
two different wheel types to accomodate the axle sets I ended up with.

Another question!

What types of steering racks are more widely available?

Presumably escort types will disappear soon; I'm trying to use more withit components to update the design.

Bob,
I'm surprised you didn't come just to see lovely Dave's lovely radiator- it's lovely!

Cortina- in fact is better than Escort as BJ's in better position.

Capri is another option.

Sierra- but you'll need to chop the middle out of it (to bring the mounts inside the car and also to reduce bump-steer) and then extend the arms. MK can do this for you.

A lot of other cars have the rack mounted behind the hubs and these are no good so be careful what you get from the scrappy.

Cheers,

James

My Mini

Well here is a pic of my recently painted mini. It's still in the paintshop in this pic but is in my garage at home right now waiting to be put back together. It will look better when it's finished!

Incidently the colour scheme is the Gulf Oils racing scheme.
