LCB 'Eyeball'
Hi All,
Ive been thinking for a while now, about an LCB Eyeball, so that we can all finally meet, look at eachothers cars, take the wee or beat the crap out
of each other. Peterborough or maybe even Stoneleigh seem so be fairly central and easy to get to from most areas.
If i were to organise it, would anyone be interested? I could probably blag the venue as a charity event, to raise money for www.servhertsveds.org.uk
but i would need to be able to make it a proper charitable event, and lay on food etc.
So the question i need to ask are;
Would anyone be interested?
Does anyone know the stoneleigh events organisers?
What would you like to see at the LCB eyeball?
Just a thought, but i know there are loads of people on here that would like to meet, for varying reasons.
Kindest Regards,
Richard.

Good idea. Not sure if the numbers would be enough, maybe you should start a poll to get numbers? Also don't underestimate the amount of time
required to organize such a thing (keep it simple)...

How large are you expecting this to be? If there are smallish numbers interested i may b able to help out with a venue. We have a campsite which
covers mabye 5 acres which im sure we would be able to accomodate quite a substantial amount of cars, also more land which, if the need was, im sure
my parents wouldnt mind letting us use to hold an event like this.
Im not sure about numbers we could accomodate but quite a few.
We are only about 15mins from newark showground so fairly central also

Always the optimist, i dont see why the event couldnt be as large as stoneleigh in terms of turnout. There are a lot of members on the forum, and
there will be others that arent that will get wind of the event through the magazines if it is advertised there. Good publicity for the site as well
(though i need to clear this all with Fozzie and the likes first of course).
If the event turned out 250 cars i would be impressed!!
Kindest Regards,
Richard.

I was never saying the event couldnt turn out those kind of numbers, just more the fact thatto start with you would probs get lower numbers, then the
more events you do, more people would come, it was just an option.
