Suffolk/Essex BBQ 28th June
Hi All.
Gaz 1977 and myself (907) will be having a BBQ on SUNDAY 28th JUNE, 1 o'clock start.
Kits, Classics, Tintops, All will be welcome. Just bring along whatever you want to eat & drink and we'll sort the BBQ's.
I'll do a Tesco trip and get the bread rolls in and no doubt the girls will chuck some salad in a bowl. All very informal.
All we need is YOU.
It will be at Gaz's house as he has more room for the cars, and only lives a couple of miles from me.
For those that haven't been before it's near Clare. (Sfk). Locosters from further away will be especially welcome.
We hope to have a few local cars, mostly classics, to add a bit of interest and just hope the weather is kind.
Post on this thread if you hope to come and we will U2U the post code.
Looking forward to seeing you all.
Cheers
Paul & Gaz

Well technically we're in Essex....
but you can see Suffolk if it's not raining.
Hope you can make it.

Can't tell exactly how far away you are - but there are some of the nicest roads for a seven between the two places!

I was going to ask you for the postcode, so I can feed it into my satnav - I'm not sure that I can remember the route!

That's rich, coming from someone living in the sticks! It's not easy finding your way round those dirt tracks, especially with all those
hostile natives...

Dirt tracks????
They are only dirt tracks during the ploughing season.
As for the hostile natives... carry a white flag.

If the weather good and there's no family commitments I may well make the trip up there
If you're not living life on the edge you're taking up too much room.

Gaz and I were having a chat the other morning (the benefits of being your own boss )
and were talking about the BBQ.
We were thinking of the relatively nearby groups that meet up, so if any of you fancy
a drive out that day you would be more than welcome to call in.
As it's a bring your own eats & drinks then the more the merrier. There's loads of car park space.
Cheers
