Just waiting for the fog to lift a little.

If it doesn't, it looks like a boring motorway journey for me.

was a bit foggy wasnt it,all those muppets with no lights on and my improvised wipers made for an interesting journey down there

scutter - 12/10/08 at 03:07 PM

Finally home, 2 1/2hrs, blooming roadworks and getting lost in reading again, tested my love with the worn 1st gear. Playing with a focus RS made up for it though, they're quite fast.

Great to see everyone, I'll be down as often as the boss allows.

P.s. what was the grand council's decision on the airfield?

I'm presuming you mean the roadworks on the A322 up near Lightwater, I got well and truly stuck here too. Looks like they're ongoing for another month according to the signs, one to remember for future meets...

As for the runway, I think there's general agreement that a whole group of us shouldn't venture onto it without getting some sort of permission from the tenant farmer. If I find myself down that way I'll give it another go, but if anyone else want's to drop into Pound Farm and practice their negotiation skills, then feel free.....

this thread was started too late; maybe a new threat should be started, say a week before the event? shame i missed it.

you can assume from now on that as long as its not raining or snowing we will be meeting just about every sunday, usually at newlands but someone was talking about a cafe near guilford, maybe my fellow tax dodger could keep us updated?

Meeerrrk - 13/10/08 at 12:17 PM
