ATB Dan.
Wot - and have to force down another "best bacon roll in the civilised world"....????
Oh, all right then....
I should be there too.
New member here. Interested in this event, what time do you meet, and exactly where? I come from the area (Burnt Common). Thanks a lot, Tom
PS Don't have a locost yet.
here's a link
It's off a bend in the A25 - National Trust car park with a good cafe.
Usually people turn up from about 9.30ish and stay till 12.30/1.00ish (me, anyway )
Shouldn't be too far for you!
I'll be there if the weather holds (coming from Sevenoaks)
Cheers,
Simon
Thanks Humbug. I'm going to try to be there. I've been reading this webpage for a long time, quite excited to see the homemade cars.
forecast is rubbish for morra.....but then again they promised biblical floods today
Well as normal i will look out of the window in the morning, conflicting forecasts but i like the ones that say it rain late afternoon
Or this one that reads shower early morning.
weather link
bit cloudy but hey ho
Fine here - just a bit of wispy cloud, no nasties looming over the horizon, see you later
I can see blue sky, good enough for me.
see you there
Another good turnout - the weather helps!
Good to meet up with new and old faces. See you next time

well i made it back home again, big thanks to bob for sorting the fuel shortage and rob and geoff for twiddling with my megasquirt.
ps runs a lot smoother up to 2500 then goes silly till 3500 then afterburners light and off we go
complicated beyond belief Dave
ps anyone seen an MK woolie hat laying around?mine has gone walkies
If you think that's technical you should see the repair conrod did to a dodgy clutch cable afterwards. Let's just say it involved...er....twigs! Wonder if he got home ok?
nah,i just supplied said twigs
cheers for your help in getting me home ok.If a jobs worth doing fit the right cable length to start with,it melted on the header and after an hour the plastic set solid.Had to start the engine and wait for the plastic to remelt and give me some clutch travel which was made better with conrods twigs and a shoelace we found on the floor
Excellent repair/bodge well at least it got you home.
Some of conrods finest work there, shame he couldnt fit a fuel sender in his tank though.
At least the petrol was only 111.9 at the ripley shell garage, just a shame the petrol can was £5.39 empty plus a bacon roll and a coffee.
so how many of us were boy scouts?
was thinking thats a fine leg you have there
