was a good day but very very cold hats off to you guys for spending all day going round i ended up sat in my car with the heater on

matt.c - 17/2/08 at 02:18 PM

Seeing those tin tops just reminds me how easy it is to trash your pride and joy!!! Track days can be an expensive day if things go wrong!!

Think i will be sticking to an airfield so if i have a moment where i think im michael schumacher and toss it off the track school boy fashion i am not likly to hit much!!

Anyway glad you boys had a good time with no mishaps, just shame i couldn't be there to see you. You going again sometime?

mad gaz - 17/2/08 at 06:56 PM

HI MATT mk are hosting their own trackday at bruntingthorpe at the end of march which will include driver training .ring phil at mk and book on or come and we will give u a ride

PAUL FISHER - 17/2/08 at 08:55 PM

Had a great day, always nice to catch up with old faces, and meet some new ones, good to meet Marc "mac1ZR" and his dad, even if they do drive Mac1's,I was very pleased with the MK spec-R ,1st time on track,it handled great, felt very planted, not really the weather to really press on,as a few others found out to there cost, cold tyres and a cold track, but both spec-r's lapping in around 1 minute 46/47seconds,will be back again when it gets a bit warmer.

I'd be interested in your results on a properly dry track. I know it's not an exact science but not many people have finished spec-r's and fewer still are tracking them. Do post up your times next time you go back. Thanks.

Hi although one has raced in the 750 KITS championship.

Cheers Matt

Yes I wil,l keep you posted,Ive got a bit more power with the zx10r over my old fireblade,so it should be a bit quicker, have I got the ability to drive the car any quicker is another story,we will see,I am sure the car is capable of less than a 1 minute 40,just not with me driving it
