I am organizing a Camping weekend with a cruise around the Dales and open Day at MNR.
Location , Harrogate / Ripon/ Knaresborough. I am looking for a decent Camp site in this area.
Can anyone recommend a site they know or have stopped at.

Speak to Mitch and the NW Hoodies they usually have a Dales run - not sure if they don't camp somewhere near Tanhill.
We have used various sites around Keld with D of E groups but I wouldn't reccomend any of them for "civilised persons" use.

There is an OK one in Reeth but near river and midges in the height of summer
