'Jasper' Where's the trackday your doing, and is it on the saturday ?

Jason

theconrodkid - 3/7/03 at 06:19 PM

show is only on sunday, and fin luego,s will be allowed on site as long as you bring food

Jasper - 3/7/03 at 06:47 PM

and sparkling mineral water to make the tea with!

Track day is at Bruntingthorpe, up near Birmingham somewhere I think (taking her up on the trailer), organised by the Silva owner club, so only sevens there, and cheap - £85 for the day and an open pit lane.

Week b4 doing an academy day at Hethel so I can get the feel of the car on a track, get used to letting the back end go and get some good instruction on how to drive!

Bruntingthorpe is a good track. Main straight is stupidly wide. Was up there in my XR2000 a few weeks back...

Performance Bikes used to do their speed testing there. I think it was or still is used as an airfield which would explain the width. They did one shoot there with a plane in the background and had to wait for it to either land or take off.

yours, Pete.

scutter - 15/7/03 at 11:39 AM

I'll be there, will bring some "still" water for the first timers.

Will be good to see you all again.

theconrodkid - 15/7/03 at 05:10 PM

ned - 16/7/03 at 08:46 AM

fizzy tea:

keeps you alert if you drink enough (caffene), but makes you burp.

Ned.

theconrodkid - 16/7/03 at 06:15 PM

this stuff makes you sterile/senile/blind
