One person I have not managed to contact yet is ayoungman, I have U2U'd and emailed him as I do not know his address so if anyone has a contact
address or number for him then please let me know.
Also please note that you DO NOT need a car park pass as it's a minor meeting, just go straight in at the main gate and park directly opposite
the shops & grandstand right near the box.
All alchoholic and soft drinks are free, please feel free to bring some food, as it's only a minor meeting it should be fine to bring your own
into the box (usually for the main meetings they like to provide it)
Hope that's all clear, give me a shout if you have any questions. Just in case my mobile number is 07788 925207.
Rich.

Many thanks Rich!
It'll be good to see Seadog again!
I believe the Locosts (750 MC) have been allocated the garages for the meeting, so we probably wont see them in the paddock!
Weather still looking brill though!
Fozzie
Thanks Shortie... do you have any info on the timetable yet, i.e. when does it start and end?
Cheers

Foz,
You can wander round all the garages and paddock so no problems seeing the Locost guys.
Rich.
Thanks shortie Looking forward to it.
Last time I tried to get into the garages, I had to Blag it past security to see the Locost peeps, Do we get a special pass seeing as we're in
the VIP bit then ?
Jason
Just have to wait and see I guess, hopefully we will be able to go everywhere.
Rich.
Paddock is never a problem, but since we have been involved in racing (1999) on race day, there is often a jobsworth at the entrance of tunnel to pits
asking for paddock/pit passes
Very few times have they NOT been there, hopefully Sunday is one of them!
Fozzie
Its something to do with public safety on race day.........apparently
There is allways a way in
What about the startline tunnel?

Bugger this is getting close now, I'd best start bolting the car back together
ATB Dan.
Well my van is in for a service, the car is still in pieces, the other car my missus has got - looks like im coming on the QUAD- see you all there ill be the guy looking like john wayne 300miles on a quad
I don't think there are problems with people going through to the central paddock even if there are cars currently on track. I've gone
through to collect results & stuff before now and my mates often follow me to the assembly area with no hassle.
You should be fine!
Rob
Locost # 47 (scabby looking blue & black one!)
A big vote of thanks to Shortie for getting us use of the Lotus on Track box today at Brands - good and varied racing, good company and a great view

Had a great day out, even considering the sunburn !! Wifey thought it a bit busy in the Lotus box hense we moved out to the Grandstand and got a
the sunburn, was a fab day out though
I tried to tell Dan about the Jam and gave him an alternative route, It only took me and extra 15 mins to get home with the detour, Might even be
better/safer than the M25 back to Croydon
Jason
Thanks to everyone who came along, was an excellent day and some excellent racing.
Really good to meet a few new people and put some faces to names of people on the forum.
I can't see any reason why we shouldn't be able to get the box again as they are often not used for the LocostRGB meetings.
I think maybe I will get a little something for Paul and Lotus on Track for letting us use the box, I'm sure he waon't want anything but
would be a nice jesture from the Locost boys.
For any of you thinking about doing trackdays then LoT (www.lotus-on-track.com) really do some excellent days and at very good prices significantly
lower than any I have seen and the driving standards are excellent.
Rich.
I'm really miffed i couldn’t make it so hopefully next time i'll be there.
Back home in Oxford now, thankfully the jam was caused by rubber neckers going clockwise and i managed about 15-20 mph(just enough to keep the rad
cool)
A big thanks to Rich for sorting it out, i would have raced you onto the motorway but there was a long way to go and i'd have only have cooked
the engine a few miles down the road. Looks like louts on track guys maybe getting a few more memberships.
Bob that Picture looks like the M25 when i got to it.
ATB Dan.
Dan we saw you in the que on the slip to the Mtwentycarpark, we went straight on towards Westerham and cut through to Redhill before joing the M way again
Yup, we did, but headed off before getting to Redhill, went through Merstham and rejoined at J8!
Dan, I found out later that although the accident was on the anti-clockwise, the back up of traffic on the clock-wise was due to the police halting
the traffic to allow the Air Ambulance to land, pick up and take off!.....
Glad you and the car got home safe and well
Fozzie
