Its just an idea at the moment and we're wondering how people would be interested.....

Theres a annual Carnival in Market Drayton and loads of old cars, trucks, tractors, floats and bands turn up and people come round and have a gander. Ive been asked if I could get a group of kitcar owners to meet up and show our cars to the public.
Basically it would be a kitcar/locostbuilders meet but there would be loads of people looking round our cars.

Its on the 29th May in Market Drayton, Shropshire. So hands up if anyone would be interested.

they first of all asked us if we wanted to drive in the parade but i used to be one of the pissed up louts squirting every one as they drove past with a super soaker so didnt think it was a good idea so parked up on the carpark sounded good.

yes it was richi you handed the coke to but it was the litter bug 'shed' who left it behind .
shame we didnt get to have a chat bob,tis allways nice to meet people off the forum

So thats 4.... I suppose we need about 10-12 to make it worth while.

Cheers for handing the coke back bob. If your or anyone elses car is not finished, you could always bring it along on a trailer, (if not too much hastle) it would be good to show people what the cars look like without bodywork. just an idea??

Ive spoken with Yoland at ShACC. The carnival and your request is going into the next newsletter and I'll chat with some of the guys on the 30th at their next club night.

BTW its at the old three pigeons nescliffe if you want to come

OK, its booked, we have space for 12 cars, maybe a few more if we squeeze em in.
They suggested we be there for about 11, as they will be closing the road off shortly afterwards.

I'll get some directions and a map sorted soon.
It was suggested that we could go on the parade, at the front, but with ox leading they were concered about the saftey of the 3000 people standing at the roadside!!

fitting the paddle shift kit and wiring some other bits up includinf the starcom1 intercom stuff, im talking about wires all over the place at the moment. then its onto my boot again.

Metcheck says rain at 12, BUT... also says only 0.8mm of rain, so it just a shower.

If it is pouring down, I'll go down anyway just to show my face and tell the organisers we wont be showing up.

looked like a drowned rat by the time I got back in the rain!!
Only had 1 x T **t who cut me up on a roundabout on the way home !!! - need to get a louder horn!! - quickly passed him secs later doin a 7 vehicle overtake!! -safely of course
