Battery cut off switch

Does it have to be FIA approved or will one of the cheapo ones be OK??

for SVA, there is no requirement to meet any standard -they are fitted a a second means of immobilisation.

for racing it may be different, dunno.

"FIA" Style with the secondary contacts and dump resisistor, will save your alternator if you use the cut off switch to kill the engine when it is running.

If you go back through my previous posts Matt put a diagram on how the FIA killswitch is wired...

FIA type is defo required for racing.
