Banjo Cable end - where from?
On my clutch cable the nice RAC man made me up a cable with what looks like a banjo fitting with 2 grub scews to hold the cable and let it rotate.
What are these called and where can i get some more?

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I know the bit you mean but no idea what they are called. Mine came from Mac#1 as part of their throttle cable kit.

I want a bigger one than mr RAC had so i can use a slightly thicker cable and get a tighter fit to the bolt as the current one flaps about a bit. Ill
get a photo, but it looks a little like this...
What is this?
The cable goes in and a grub screw holds it in 2 directions.

Sounds like the kind of thing you might find in a chandlers or a balustrade supplier.
For example http://www.steelwirerope.com/diyselffit.html has something close that uses a rather nicer fixing method than grub screws. Probably need
to find a shop installer and supply a liquid lunch or beg a manufacturer for samples to get them in small lots though.
