Starting to redo the interior

Hello all, well decided that I was not happy with a few things on my MK, such as the dashboard layout, the hockey trim pieces and a few other things, so as the weather is bad decided to make a start and rip out the dashboard and switches to start again, here is the result of a few hours this morning:

Now, want to move the dials from the centre position to above the steering wheel, as in a 'normal' car, but if I use the R1 dials it will stick up a bit...

Now still thinking of going down the Acewell dash route, but even then it will stick up a bit if I put them above the steering wheel, so think I may give the existing bike clocks a go first, then if I do not like them I can always get the Acewell at a later date.

Oh, also have a gear indicator and shift light to fit too...

Next job to cut the ABS sheet for the dash and go from there...

i would do a mock up on plywood and make sure everything is spot on before a do the abs plastic one.

And that looks better than it did??

Wow that must of been a messy dash!

Well, dash all done and here are a few pics (excuse the red button hanging down - a temporary start button until I get a better one). Moved the clocks to above the steering wheel and the oil pressure gauge is now directly in the line of sight.
