Autotest
I have taken part in a few rounds of the local club's autotest series. The tests consist of 3 sets of cones on a field, each with 2 different
routes, and you have 2 attempts at each course (so 12 runs in total). The better time for each course counts towards your score.
Anyway, the quickest cars all seem to be FWD small hatches, withonly a few RWD cars at all, but there were a few interesting cars. Pics include my son
James in the ST trying to look like he has blown something up (it was incredibly dusty yesterday) and some others.

I remember marshalling at a few of the Autotests and there were two cars I remember were superb. One was a mini moke with a tweeked lump and hydraulic
handbrake etc, great visibility. The other was an Imp that was driven superbly.
Looks great fun on grass.

Andy
When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

Grass autotesting is a bit of fun, and yes saloon cars will beat you always. Go and do a tarmac event you will be quicker than those saloons then
