How many miles / kms do you drive a year in your Locost?
Hi guys, as the title says, I am trying to see how many miles / kms a typical completed car usually spends on the road per year.
Thanks!

Who is this super hero? Sarge? ...No.
Rosemary, the telephone operator? ...No.
Penry, the mild-mannered janitor? ...Could be!

I did 1600 miles in mine from June to November 2006. I'm hoping to do more in 2007.

I did 5000 miles in the first year. The car was off the road for 1 month of that because of a poorly engine.

I did about 2k miles in the first year with a 1300 xflow and 4 speed box. Next year about 1.5k. Then about 2k last year with a 1600 same box. This
includes fun nights on track and a few grass autotests.
Cheers

SVA / on road for june, and 2300 till nov 06.
Done a couple of trips out since then but only local.
I take it out if its dry, dont worry about if its cold... I'm used to driving a Land Rover! (complete with gaps round the doors and heater that
couldnt warm anything!.
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
Best Regards

About 2500 miles / 4000 km since I SVA'd it in Oct 2004.
Fair-weather driver, me! Although I did drive home in torrential rain once, coming back from Paul G's (aka 907). For that I needed a snorkel.

Legal on 3/1/06, then 1500 miles to Oct 15, taken off road for mods (see elsewhere) - which were supposed to take two months, now nearly up to 3
Have set target at start of March to be back on road!
