South Birmingham Locosters Blat

Three of us went for a drive yesterday afternoon, Sunday 16th October. The weather was cloudy but dry and mild.

We went Henley-in-Arden, Warwick, Harbury, Southam, Banbury, Chipping Norton, Moreton in the Marsh, Broadway (down Fish Hill), Evesham, Cookhill then home. It was around 95 miles and took us two and a half hours or so. We had a couple of stops in that time.

No mechanical problems and no near misses - although we all had trouble getting past a 3.5ton truck that appeared to be driven by Beelzebub himself! He was going "hell for leather" along the A361 from Banbury to Chipping Norton and it must have taken 5 miles for all three of us to get past him.

I have attached a picture of the three cars at our first stop just outside Evesham.

Who is this super hero? Sarge? ...No.
Rosemary, the telephone operator? ...No.
Penry, the mild-mannered janitor? ...Could be!
