Ultimate locost roadtrip
Just got back from 12 days in Iceland. Mostly work related but 4 days off to check the place out. What a place! Miles of sweeping roads in stunning
landscape and you only see another vehicle once every half hour when you get away from Reykjavik. A convoy of locosts would certainly get some
attention over there as they are into vehicles of the opposite extreme. Only non locost aspect to a trip over there is the prices - £5.50 for a
pint.

I did a gig there in February. Everyone drives 4x4s. Great place especially the Blue Lagoon.

A mate of mine wanted to take his car up there, but found the ferry prices were dead expensive. I might be wrong, but I don't think its the
same sort of cost as going to the continent.
Might be cheaper to put 4 / 6 locosts in a container and ship them over, flying up to meet the cars?

Well worth saving up for. As Jon said, the Blue Lagoon is fantastic. You can chill in there for hours. The Golden Circle is worth doing for the
geysers, Gulfoss falls and the great roads. Nobody goes out in Reykjavik until about 11pm on a weekend but they stay out until 6am

They had a rotting shark hung up in the fishing exhibition we built the stand for. Had a knife tied to the hook so you could just cut a chunk off and
eat it as you walked by. The smell was disgusting. The food in restaurants however is excellent - obviously fish is a big speciality but there is a
good choice of alternatives. Best to take one of the guide booklets with you because most places offer 10 to 20% off with it.
