Pilgrimage to Portmeirion

Went with Mrs. D to Portmeirion today. Fantastic drive to Llanrwst, Blaenau F, Harlech then Portmeirion. The evening return via Beddgelert and Capel Curig to Betws y Coed is highly recommended as a twisty route with fab scenery. All this is less than 40 miles from home and I keep forgetting it's there. Come to North Wales, it's amazing!

I built my car in the classic Lotus "Prisoner" colours and after a bit of nagging they were gracious enough to let me drive through the village. I ignored the one way system and went through again in the other direction Fantastic! Big thanks to Kevin the harassed gatekeeper for that!!

Good colour scheme

I'm addicted to brake fluid, but I can stop anytime.

Excellent work! And good on them for letting you drive though.

Pretty sure I saw you in the pay and display on the hill, on the corner in Harlech yesterday. I was in my glorious white van, which is dull for driving, but I can't get any camping gear and the missus in my Haynes Roadster.

Car and village looks great! Most go one day. Did you manage to avoid the bubbles?

Stunning part of the UK, spent a week up there just recently. Visited Halech castle and the amazing beaches around there. Will be back next summer to explore a bit more too.
