Your own personal road circuit
We all have our own route that we use. Point A to Point A in a circuit. Clockwise or Anticlockwise depnding on your mood as you leave home.
Living near some great driving roads, I don't have to go far for some of the good stuff, and so I give you The Zilburgring...
Feel free to work out your route and post below.

we have several round here but Im loath go go tell where they are as big brother is always on the prowl....
Google already sees way to much.....reads too much and has evidence of all our movements.
But applecross penisula is my ultimate one. As well as the Glenfarg to Perth road driving at the speed limits posted .
A road is good if you dont have to speed to get a good driving experiance out of it.

Certainly agree with the last bit especially. You really wouldn't need to trouble the speed limit on any of the roads above.
Best thing about my route is that it starts and finishes at my front door.

really good roads around my dads place in royston either driving or cycling.
away from cars, now cycling and building TT bikes

Ok, you got me there.
But I don't have to drive 100 miles or more to get to the good stuff was my poorly made point.

Sadly round my way its either boring A roads, or 'too narrow to have confidence' B roads.
Best fun I have A-B routes or round the basingstoke ringroad at a stupid hour of the morning so no ones around.
I have mapped the Ringroad onto RaceChrono with various sectors to make it more interesting

Got to be one of the best roads in the country! The Ploice have a spotter plane circling most of the summer, so get in nice and early as soon as the
weather breaks!
As for one of the above comments, I agree - the lower you can keep your speed thrills the better, as this means you have to work twice as hard to go
fast! Last time I was there I never got out of 1st & 2nd gear on my carbon fibre CBR600RR racing a guy on a supermoto - awesome awesome

I've just been out around the Cooker Ring, 40 miles of fun, including dual carriageways, fast country lanes, switchbacks, a tight series of 90
degree corners, a few villages, a very long dead straight run down the Military Road and then home in time for coffee.

Great thread: Here's mine a 65 mile moorland special stage in the Lammermuirs. My regular test route - you'd find it hard to hit the speed
limit on the best section between Duns and Garvald!

No idea how to post all that but I got 2.
Get off the M56 at Northwich/Warrington (the first junction after the M6 if you head for Wales/Birkenhead way. Take the road to Northwich, hope you
don't get stuck behind a bus or any other car.
Take the M56 back toward Manchester and go past Stockport, iirc you're looking for the M67 then and the Snake Pass. Brilliant at night
