0 - 60 in 4.48, how does this compare ??
I was really pleased today, managed to record a 0 - 60 time of 4.48 seconds (on a private road of course). I have been really struggling to get the
car off the line, it always boggs down but the start wasn't too bad today and the time was good.
How does this compare with what other are getting ?? The car is ZX9R E1 engined, weighing just under 500Kg, possibly the key to the good time is the
3.9 diff.
Here is the proof:

is it me or is that a timed distance and not a speed?
Or does it measure how far you have travelled when you hit 60?
Shaun
not bad if 4.48 though, my crossflow locost did 1/4 mile in 14.8 secs today and 0-330 ft in 6.6 secs.

It's a timed 0 - 60 mph speed run, it does however also measure the distance taken to reach 60mph - 216ft

I haven't managed to get my R1 Indy under 4.3 seconds with my race-technology box. Its the intial getting going that seems to put a limit on it.
Sure on a sticky santa pod with ultra sticky tyres one could get quicker, but TBH anything under 5 seconds is damn quick.

Not sure on my 0-60 but I did a 1/4 miles in just over 13 IIRC and it was running awfully rich. Going to be interesting to see what my one runs on
injection and then blown.

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.
