just had a day out
Just got back from a day out a rockingham speed way.
wife bought me an lotus thrill for xmas and i went with the eldest Boy (19). when we got there there were many drives at half price, so we bought a
Porche Turbo experience each
had so much fun , i liked the lotus elise best but it could have done with much more power (but that did not stop me passing all the ferrari's
and porche's)
the porche was felt so bulky but what a punch the 450bhp has.
now i'm sold on track days... just got to get cash together.
Jake (the 19 year old) now wants a 911 turbo for his birthday, he just loved it.

Oh yes, it would have eaten the elise for breakfast on the acceleration alone as its a good second faster to 60, and would have been right on the
porche's bumper.
i will have to get confidence in the indy's brakes and may be fit better pads to improve braking. but the elise reminded me of the indy because
it felt so light and agile. would love an elise if it was super charged and with 250 hp.
a great day out
