Property is so stupid in St Ives that we rent out our house for double the amount that we rent a cottage in Crowlas. The rent covers the mortgage and
our current rent where we live.
Weekly rents in summer go for about £1000 a week, it's all gone mad

Yup, got out for an hour today, bit of salt on the roads but I didn't need an excuse to give the car a wash when I got back.

Yep I managed about 50 miles up the coast road from Carrick, then back down and around some favourite back roads.
Wrapped up warm, it was great.
As mentioned before roads not too bad, but lots of farm lubricant in places.
I'm working nights tomorrow night, so I'd hope to sleep to 3pm, hopefully go for a blat after that again tomorrow.
