Yup Ive been out

Lovely weather

Shame the suns so low

Not as salty as I was expecting but LOADS of farmers muck on the roads - very slippy on a number of occasions - nearly brown panted a couple of times

My wife's getting wise to me... she said "it's a lovely day, why don't you go out in your car?" followed shortly by "While you're out, can you get me some fresh chillis? I forgot to get some this morning." I had 2 places to try - one 15 miles away, and the other 1 mile away - obviously I tried the furthest first, even though I ended up buying them in the closer one!

Later on I went out again for an hour or so... (sorry scutter ) Bit tricky coming home, with the sun exactly on the skyline, right into my eyes - that's when the Caberg inner dark visor is VERY useful.

Weather forcast looks rubbish for next week, so you have to take every opportunity, don't you?

David

Cheers.

I responded to Luego's cry for help. Took the Viento up to Rutland to see a prospective customer. Nice Chap and his Son. Definately Viento types.
Got just over a 100 miles in, most of it on the A1 at speed. Also it was cold. Lovely drive, and glad I took my sunnies, definately needed them on the way home!

I am dead tired but might go out again tomorrow

Loveley day here. Not a single trace of cloud and suprisingly warm. I only went out for a quick blast but I think that dry winters days are often the nicest to be out on the road.

Jud, I think I've found it. The timing chain's going south and making a fair bit of noise whilst at it! I just hope that's the only rattle, as Id hate to fix one just to discover it was hiding another! On the plus side the new clutch works. Well, it did on the driveway.

I went out on my bike and I'm glad I wasn't in the car. I went through some road works and when I got home I noticed everything was covered in sticky black tar. Looks like I'll be busy with the thinners and a rag tomorrow.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Yep, we had a run up to MK then across to MAC#1.

Bit chilly but a good run all the same.

Had a run out to St Ives, north coast road to Lands End, back to Penzance by the south coast road, did some granny scaring on the bypass and home for tea.

Got 2 bungy cords and a plank of wood controlling my enormous smile as we speak

I love my car
