What a fantastic day! I'd recommend the Caterham Drift Day to anyone. I struggled to begin with. The instructors reconed my carting and trackday
experience was getting in the way. Every time I got the tail out I was instinctively correcting it so was either not sliding very much or giving it
too much right foot to compensate and spinning out. But I slowly began to get it throughout the day, and began to catch up with the others.
There were 19 of us taking turns in three cars so one was always out on the drift layout while the other two were preparing or changing drivers. You
got two attempts of the circuit each time with a brief breather in the pits in between. Strangely I always did better on the first attempt and not so
well on the second.
Towards the end of the day I cracked it and got the most sublime rolling doughnut going. It was such a fantastic feeling. That alone was worth the
money! Then I began to get really big drifts going and transitioning them from one straight into the other! I even got a burst of applause!
On the final run of the day which was the assessed run I got an almost perfect big drifting run with great transitions on the practice run and then
true to form buggered it up on the assessed run. Ahh well , snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. But had the most fantastic day!!!

Sounds like a cracking day out
Got an pics?
I think my lady wife got a couple of shots. I haven't got the cable with me to get them off the camera but will post them as soon as I have.
Excellent work, glad you enjoyed the day. Which track was it at. The Slalom day I did was at the Top gear track, but I know they don't hold the
drift events there.

I did this a few years ago, it's what first got me into 7esques

And Some More Here
The second link includes a couple of videos of me doing the course in my TVR (badly) and a Mitsubishi L200 pickup!

Finally uploaded some pics. Have added them to the first post in this thread.
awesome, how much does it cost?
I think SWMBO said it was £220. She bought it off an experience days type web site but you can book direct with Caterham. Link Here
